Professional Christmas light installation in Greenville and Upstate South Carolina by Greenville Light Co.
Holiday lighting
Christmas lights, start to finish.
Holiday lighting is the whole business at Greenville Light Co. It is not a side line for a cleaning crew or a lawn service in the slow months. We design the display for your house, install it, keep it running all season, take it down in January and store it until next year.
Rooflines, trees, shrubs and walkways, for homes and for businesses. You pick how much of the property you want lit. We handle every ladder, clip and cord.
Every home is custom. Your exact quote is free.
What is included
- A custom design for your house or storefront
- Professional installation on clips, every bulb in line
- Maintenance through the season: call or text and we come back
- Takedown in January
- Off-season storage of your lights
What we light
Four zones. One glowing house.
-
01 / 04Rooflines
The outline the whole street sees.
Peaks, gables, dormers and eaves, traced in an even line of bulbs. Most displays start here, because it is what makes a house read from the road.
-
02 / 04Trees
Trunks and limbs, wrapped tight.
We wrap trunks and main limbs closely so the tree glows from the inside out, instead of a few loose strands draped over the canopy.
-
03 / 04Shrubs
The beds along the front, lit low.
Hedges, boxwoods and small evergreens along the foundation, lit so the bottom of the house glows as much as the top.
- 04 / 04
Walkways
A lit path to the front door.
Lights along the walk or the drive, so guests arriving after dark follow the glow straight to your door.

Questions
Holiday lighting, answered.
How much does professional Christmas light installation cost?
Every home is custom, so we price each one after seeing it: how many feet of roofline, how many trees and beds, and the colors you want. The quote is free. Send the address through the form or call 864-395-1866.
When should I book?
As early as you can. Install calendars around the Upstate fill up through late summer and early fall, so the sooner you ask, the more choice you get. We do not use a booking calendar: we talk with you and confirm your install window directly.
What is included?
All five parts: we design the display, install it, maintain it through the season, take it down after the holidays and store your lights until next year. You never touch a ladder or a storage bin.
What happens if a bulb or strand goes out?
Maintenance is part of the service. Call or text and we come back out to fix it, as many times as the season needs.
Where do my lights go after the season?
They live with us. We take them down, pack them and store them until next season, so there is nothing to haul up to the attic and nothing to untangle next year.
When do the lights come down?
In January. We schedule the takedown with you after the holidays.
Do you light businesses as well as homes?
Yes, both residential and commercial: houses, storefronts, offices and other commercial properties. Tell us about the property when you ask for a quote.
Which towns do you serve?
Greenville, Greer, Travelers Rest, Taylors, Easley, Simpsonville and Powdersville, and the surrounding Upstate. If you are close by but not on the list, ask anyway.
